I believe in having my cake, and eating it (and of course, I baked and frosted it from scratch)! By day I wear suits (well, my office is biz casual) working on legal, regulatory, and policy issues. By night I am remodeling, baking, spray painting, DIY-ing, and generally trying to surround myself with beautiful and delicious things. Sometimes I paint and sew too. This blog is an attempt to honor both my domestic and non-domestic interests, and hopefully entertain my friends at least a little.
